Stay Green at the Rossland Motel
We are constantly researching ways to decrease our enviromental impact here at the Rossland Motel. Whether it's installing new windows or upgrading our appliances to energy smart ones we've been doing it.
When it comes to amenities we have replaced the usual bars of soap and shampoo bottles with refillable dispensers and the soap is eco-friendly too! We use reuseable coffee filters instead of the paper ones and the coffee is freshly roasted just down the mountain in Trail (and if you would like to compost the old coffee grounds you can!)
On our beds the sheets are a bamboo/cotton blend and the new pillows are filled with a polyester fibre made from 100% recycled pop bottles.
